Materiality is one of the important inputs to L&T’s sustainability strategy and enables prioritising of the key focus areas. We have been constantly working on improving and delivering on ESG dimensions, identified through the findings of a materiality assessment conducted in FY 2022.

MATERIALITY ASSESSMENT PROCESS

The materiality assessment considers both the impact of the Company’s activities on ESG dimensions and the way in which these dimensions can impact the Company. During the year, the identified material topics, their relevance, and their progress are monitored and reviewed at various levels across the Company.
